Ford Credit’s Tier 3 Prequalification Tool is a widget for your dealership website that appears as an action button beneath the Call-To-Action (CTA) stack on each New Vehicle Detail Page (VDP) of your site, as well as on the New Search Results Page (SRP). By clicking the button and providing five pieces of information on the prequalification form, customers instantly receive a prequalification decision showing how much they are approved for, and your store simultaneously receives the customer’s information as a lead in your CRM, distinguishable with the source code of DC FMCC Prequal. Since this is a soft pull of the customer’s credit there is zero credit impact for the customer.

- Prequalification decision and dollar amount
- Whether they are a prior Ford/Lincoln customer
- Example of prequalification information within the notes/comments section: ‘52000 APPROVED 1FM5K8D8XJGA01868’ indicates the customer is prequalified
How do I add the tool to my site?
